On February 6, over 50 SFA members gathered in New York City for a symposium about the future of the Qualified Mortgage (QM) Rule. SFA members—including QM and non-QM issuers, originators, rating agencies, diligence firms, and investors—gathered at Alston & Bird to discuss the future of the QM market, underwriting standards, and steps that the industry can take to address outstanding regulatory issues and help ensure a dynamic, well-regulated mortgage market.
