The House of Representatives passed the $2 trillion “Phase III” economic stimulus legislation by voice vote. The CARES Act represents the largest emergency aid package in U.S. history and the third legislative action taken to address the economic effects of the rapidly intensifying coronavirus. The bill now heads to the desk of President Trump, who has indicated he will sign the measure.
