Investments in the environment, social, and governance (ESG) market have gained significant traction in recent years among investors. Survey data released by sustainability-driven investment firm OneplanetCapital found that the ESG market is set to double this year with 12% of traders planning to move investments to ESG related funds in 2021. A large focus being concentrated on investing in businesses that battle climate change and promote environmental causes. The same survey found that 28% of investors would consider taking on different risk levels to invest in companies committed to tackling climate change.
