DBRS Morningstar is seeking a senior Client Services Associate to focus on supporting clients across North America. The Client Services team offers excellent opportunities for growth within the team and supports promoting team members who are ready to pursue roles within other areas of the company.
The ideal candidate will be personable and highly driven, with an exceptional attention to detail. Previous work experience within the financial services industry is ideal yet not required for candidates who can demonstrate their ability to learn quickly and excel within a fast-paced environment. This position is located in Toronto with a hybrid going into the office structure.
Job Responsibilities:
The core responsibilities for efficiently servicing clients demands creative problem solving and the swift execution of a variety of administrative tasks:
Client engagement
Meet with clients to discuss DBRS Morningstar products and services, and related pricing
Track the status of engagements with new and existing clients across North America
Conduct research that identifies any market trends likely to impact issuers
Create and maintain materials which supports events aimed at engaging both issuers and investors
Client administration
Prepare and coordinate letters of engagement for new and existing clients
Respond to client inquiries on contracts and invoices
Configure and maintain records on new and existing clients within the Salesforce CRM system
Validate with Finance team members the status of client invoices, and the accuracy of billings
Adhere to all policies and procedures, and imagine how the team might get more done with less work
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required
2 years or more of relevant experience related to Sales or Relationship Management
Interest in the financial services industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Confident engaging clients at an executive level, via in-person discussions, phone, or email
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Nice to have:
Attained a bachelor’s degree or higher with a specialization in business, finance and other relevant disciplines
Experience in the financial services industry
Experience with Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
