Michelle Meyer is a managing director and Head of U.S. Economics at BofA Global Research. Based in New York, she provides timely analysis of economic data and Federal Reserve policy announcements to the sales force and traders. She is responsible for providing the firm’s U.S. economic forecasts, including the outlook for GDP, inflation and Federal Reserve policy. SUSAN SHEFFIELD has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since April 2018. She previously served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer, a role she assumed in June 2014. Prior to that, she served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance, from 2008 to 2014. She served as Senior Vice President, Structured Finance, from 2004 to 2008 and Vice President, Structured Finance, from 2003 to 2004. Ms. Sheffield joined the company in 2001 as part of the Investor Relations department. Prior to joining the company, she worked in corporate and commercial banking for 13 years, primarily for JPMorgan and Wells Fargo Bank.

Chris is head of the Global Securitized Investment team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). Prior to assuming his current role in 2014, he was head of the Agency Mortgage Backed Securities Investment team. Previously, Chris was a member of the Government Swaps Investment Strategy team. Prior to joining GSAM in 2003, he worked in Private Wealth Management, where he began his career with the firm as part of a team managing assets for high net worth individuals. Chris joined Goldman Sachs as a summer analyst in the Investment Management Division in 1999 and joined the firm full time in 2000. He was named managing director in 2012.  Chris earned a BA, with highest honors, in Economics and Government from the University of Notre Dame in 2000. He is a CFA charterholder.

Laura Parrott is a managing director and the Head of Private Placements for Nuveen. She joined TIAA Investments in 2005 in Fixed Income and has spent the majority of her career in the private placement originations and portfolio management group. During her tenure on the Private Placement team, Laura was responsible for building the direct origination platform and was instrumental in the formation and growth of the Private ABS specialty. She has also spent time working in private equity portfolio management for the company. Prior to joining TIAA Investments, Mrs. Parrott worked at JPMorgan in various market-related roles in Equities and Corporate Strategy.

Ms. Parrott holds a B.S. in business administration from Wake Forest University’s Calloway School of Business and an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Douglas Murray is a group managing director responsible for Fitch’s Global Structured Finance Business Development effort. Doug handles Issuer, Investor, and Banker relationships across ABS, RMBS, CMBS, and CDO’s. Previously, Doug managed the ABS Group for over 10 years. The group was responsible for rating bonds backed by consumer and commercial assets including asset-backed CP conduits. Doug joined Fitch in 1989 shortly after the firm was capitalized.

Before coming to Fitch, Doug was a rating officer at Standard & Poor’s. There he managed the letter of credit commercial paper group within its structured finance department.

Doug holds a BA in economics from Rutgers University and an MBA in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
