The Job Market is Slowing Down

The number of Americans that have quit their job dropped 22 percent between 2022 and 2024. Paired with fewer job openings, many job seekers are finding it harder to land a new role. This trend is especially seen amongst office positions that experienced a surge in hiring previously, as they are now looking for ways to control their costs. Whether or not the job market improves in 2025 may depend on monetary policy and President Trump’s economic agenda.
