SEC to Vote on Climate Disclosure Rulemaking Proposal

On Thursday, March 10, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced their plan to “consider whether to propose amendments that would enhance and standardize registrants’ climate-related disclosures for investors” during a meeting that will take place on March 21^st. This consideration of proposed rules follows the SEC’s previous request for public input on climate change disclosures to which SFA submitted a response.
