On Thursday, March 10, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced their plan to “consider whether to propose amendments that would enhance and standardize registrants’ climate-related disclosures for investors” during a meeting that will take place on March 21st. This consideration of proposed rules follows the SEC’s previous request for public input on climate change disclosures to which SFA submitted a response.
