SFVegas 2021 Update

As you know, SFA is requiring all attendees at SFVegas to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  We made the decision to require everyone to be vaccinated after significant consideration and we determined that it was the best way to let everyone able to attend in person do so safely and comfortably.  To verify the vaccination records of all attendees, SFA has engaged a private specialist, CLEAR.  CLEAR is a well-established organization relied on by multiple airlines, sports teams, government entities, and event hosts to implement an efficient and effective way of conducting safety screenings.  CLEAR will be used to confirm that every attendee at SFVegas is fully vaccinated prior to entry and CLEAR shall confidentiality and securely maintain all data and information attendees provide.  Individual attendees will be required to submit proof of vaccination to CLEAR (and we will provide direction on how to do so in the coming weeks) as well as a disclosure permitting CLEAR to share vaccination information to SFA.  However, SFA shall only request individualized vaccination information in the event of a safety concern or positive COVID-19 case.  SFA will retain any vaccination information we receive in a confidential manner pursuant to applicable law and will not retain it for longer than needed to help mitigate any safety concerns.  SFA shall not share or otherwise cause to be shared any individual’s vaccination status information unless required to do so according to applicable law.
