SFA Comments on UK Securitization Consultation Papers

On Monday, May 18, 2026, SFA submitted its comment letter in response to the Consultation Papers on reforming securitization in the United Kingdom that had been issued by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and the UK Prudential Regulatory Authority. In providing support for and technical comments on the consultation papers, SFA noted its belief that a responsible and proportionate securitization framework is a key building block to ensuring the growth of a thriving yet sustainable securitization market to support the UK economy’s funding needs. The letter emphasizes that the consultation papers are an important step toward that goal.
