On July 15, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released their CPI report which found that inflation rose by 0.3 percent in June, with the 12-month inflation rate for June 2025 coming in at 2.7 percent, in line with expectations. According to CNBC, while the impact of tariffs on prices was unclear, there are market signals that tariff sensitive goods are rising in price.
