SFA’s Market Snapshot presents updates on new issuance of RMBS and CMBS (both agency and non-agency), ABS and CLOs in a month where investors sought the relative safety of highly-rated securitizations amidst broader market volatility. Auto loan and lease ABS contributed 41% of the $190 billion total ABS issued so far in 2022. Another 14% of the market came from asset classes with less than $5 billion in issuance like fleet leasing, device payments and solar.
