Economic Outlook
Tiffany Wilding
Managing Director
PIMCO
Ms. Wilding is a managing director and economist based in the Newport Beach office. She leads PIMCO’s Cyclical Forum, crafts the firm’s outlook for the global economy, and analyzes key macro risks for the firm’s Investment Committee. She also co-chairs the firm’s Americas portfolio committee. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2016, she was the head of global interest rate research at Tudor Investment, responsible for recommending trade ideas based on global macro trends. Previously, she was a U.S. interest rate strategist with Morgan Stanley and a Treasury market policy analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where she helped structure and implement the central bank’s response to the 2008 financial crisis. She has 17 years of investment and economics/financial markets experience and holds an MBA in quantitative finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She received an undergraduate degree from Rhodes College.

Ms. Bui is an executive vice president in the Newport Beach office and a portfolio manager and trader of securitized debt instruments and bank loans, focusing on collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), leveraged loans, asset-backed collateralized debt obligations, and off-the-run sectors within structured products. Ms Bui joined PIMCO in 2000 and is a member of the bank loan portfolio management team, responsible for bank loan investments and the management of PIMCO-issued CLOs. She has 25 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles and an undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego.

Elana Lipchak is a Director on the ABS strategy team at BofA Global Research. Her research includes credit, prepayment, structure, and relative value analysis for various sectors in the ABS market. Elana also leads Sustainability Research for US securitized products, covering environmental, social and governance themes for US ABS, MBS, CMBS, and CLOs. Areas of focus include the green transition, climate risk analysis for real estate, and the exploration of social themes with respect to equitable access to homeownership and affordable housing.
Theresa O’Neil
Managing Director and Head of ABS Strategy in North America

Theresa O’Neill is a Managing Director and Head of ABS Strategy in North America. Theresa and her team provide credit, prepayment, structure, and relative value analysis for various consumer and commercial related sectors in the ABS market. Regular publications include the ABS Weekly and monthly performance reports for various sectors. Theresa has been a highly ranked member of Institutional Investor’s All American Fixed Income Research Team for over ten years. Before joining BofA Securities Inc., Theresa managed MetLife’s asset-backed and non-Agency RMBS portfolios. Theresa earned her MBA from Fordham University. Aima Dong
Executive Director, Corporate Credit Financing/Securitization

Aima Dong is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley responsible for CLO financing and asset-based lending of corporate credits. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2024, Aima managed the corporate credit financing team at Citi, where she focused on Middle Market/Direct Lending ABLs, CLO Warehousing, Total Return Swaps, and Liquid Credit Financing. Aima was previously a part of Wall Street’s Women’s Bond Club where she focused on communication and networking as part of the 2022 Rising Star cohort. Aima has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.
Jing Yang
Portfolio Manager
PIMCO
Ms. Yang is a managing director and portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office. She oversees the asset-backed securities portfolio management team and focuses on StocksPLUS, multi-sector credit, and securitized strategies. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, she worked in home equity loan structuring at Morgan Stanley in New York. She has 20 years of investment experience and holds both a Ph.D. in ecology and evolution with a focus on bioinformatics and a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Chicago.
