SFAcademy: The Bootcamp Series
The Structured Finance Association (SFA) has launched a new structured finance education program, the SFAcademy. Every other week, new content will be added to our inaugural Bootcamp Series.
Our Modules are designed to introduce the fundamentals of securitization and various securitized asset classes through accessible explanations and real-life examples to practitioners of all levels.
Level 1 – Foundational Overview
Level 1 videos are designed for newcomers to structured finance and are ideal for professionals in legal, compliance, operations, or adjacent functions seeking to contextualize their work within the securitization ecosystem. These sessions provide accessible, jargon-free explanations of core concepts, including basic transaction structures and foundational principles.
Level 2 – Technical Deep Dive
Level 2 videos are geared toward professionals with baseline knowledge who are ready to deepen their expertise. These modules explore asset-specific nuances, structural mechanics, legal considerations, and risk perspectives in greater detail—ideal for analysts, structurers, counsel, and other market participants seeking more advanced insights
