Chris Scott
Managing Director & Co-Head of the Residential & Consumer Complex
Christopher Scott joined Morgan Stanley’s Structured Products Group in 2019 and is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Residential and Consumer complex. Chris is responsible for warehouse lending, wholeloan trading, and securitization of these products. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Chris worked at Ally Financial Inc. for 11 years as an Investment Management Executive. He was responsible for managing investments in CMBS, RMBS, and ABS, for both Ally Bank and Ally Insurance. Chris began his career at Bear, Stearns & Co. where he was a Senior Managing Director responsible for trading residential loans and securities, and managing the capital markets activities for Bear Stearns & Co.’s various mortgage subsidiaries. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Lehigh University and currently serves on the Board of Trustees.
