In a report released on March 13, Moody’s Investor Service announced the change of their outlook on the U.S. banking system from ‘stable’ to ‘negative.’ The statement accompanied actions on seven financial institutions, that were either downgraded or placed on review, and a prediction of a recession later this year that is expected to bring further stress to the banking industry.
