Job Description:
Fitch Ratings is seeking an Associate Director to join its Structured Credit group based out of our Chicago office location.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Analyze new ratings on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) using proprietary models.
- Analyze transaction documents focusing on identifying credit risks.
- Prepare and present rating conclusions to the credit committee.
- Draft commentary reports on rating actions to inform market participants.
- Participate as a credit committee member for rating assignments in the Structured Credit sector.
- Contribute to regular and special research publications.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as finance, accounting, or economic
- You have at least 4 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably with a focus on CLOs or Structured Finance.
- You possess strong analytical thinking, a deep intellectual curiosity, and meticulous attention to detail.
- You possess the ability to listen actively and integrate others’ perspectives in a consensus-driven environment.
- You demonstrate a high level of personal responsibility, initiative, and self-management.
- You have a keen interest in capital markets and structured finance.
- You are proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Knowledge of programming languages is a plus but not required.
- Ability to convey complex subjects clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
