Walt Cronkite
Director of Communications
In his role as Director of Communications, Walt Cronkite is responsible for leading the Structured Finance Association’s communications program, media relations, and social media.
Prior to joining the Structured Finance Association, Walt handled public relations for the global law firm Latham & Watkins. Before that, Walt worked in public affairs and government relations for FTI Consulting, helping clients navigate crises, congressional investigations, and litigation. He began his career at CBS News, where he covered legislation, hearings, and high-level confirmations as a congressional producer/off-air reporter.
Walt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Hamilton College.
