Bipartisan Senate Letter To Treasury Secretary Calls for Urgent Action To Address Mortgage Servicer Liquidity

On April 8, Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) led a bipartisan letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin regarding liquidity concerns in the housing market and called for urgent action to address the liquidity challenges currently facing mortgage servicers. Senators Mike Rounds (R-SD), Bob Menendez (D-NJ), Thom Tillis (R-NC), Tim Kaine (D-VA), Tim Scott (R-SC) and Jerry Moran (R-KS) also signed the letter and joined Senator Warner in calling for immediate action to avoid an impending crisis in the mortgage servicing sector.
