Key Financial Regulators Release Unified Agendas

On January 4, the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) published its Fall 2022 Unified Agenda of Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions, which is a comprehensive list of actions federal agencies plan to pursue. Released on a semiannual basis, these Unified Agendas provide insight regarding proposed rules that may be issued in the near- or long-term future. Financial regulators that released their Unified Agendas relevant to the industry include those from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

SFA continues to engage with policymakers on key policy issues and proposed rules impacting our markets published in the Unified Agendas including, private funds, mandated climate disclosure, 144A and Reg D rules, and cybersecurity related disclosures.
