Credit Risk Transfer Market Committee
This committee educates and advocates about the benefits of a level playing field in which all participants receive equitable capital treatment for similarly structured risk transfer transactions.
Overview
SFA members know that a level playing field for risk transfer transactions is essential to the market and the macro economy.
The Structured Finance Association’s Credit Risk Transfer Market Committee brings together stakeholders from across the industry – from banks and law firms to insurance companies and investment firms – to consider policy changes, trends, and vulnerabilities in the market. The Committee works to strengthen the significant risk transfer (SRT) securitization framework, which allows banks to deleverage balance sheets.
