Evaluates EU regulations and legislation to measure their potential impact on the European securities market and advocates for any clarifications or modifications deemed necessary
Overview
The European Securitization Regulations Task Force of the Structured Finance Association seeks to address implementation issues and seek clarity, where needed, on the EU’s new securitization regulations, specifically related to new requirements for risk retention, due diligence and reporting. This committee is co-chaired by leaders of international firms and corporations and benefits all of SFA’s international members – as well as the global structured finance market – by coordinating actions, sharing information, and deriving consensus among global brands.
