On September 30, SFA submitted an amicus brief to the Third Circuit Appellate in the CFPB v. NCSLT case. The brief further supports SFA’s advocacy efforts, reinforcing the negative impact on the securitization market if the court were to find securitization trusts as “covered persons” under the Consumer Financial Protection Act resulting in these passive financing structures being under the enforcement authority of the CFPB.
