SFA and Bloomberg Index Services Limited (BISL) Securitized Credit Indices Task Force
A forum for the investor community to provide market input on the development, launch, adoption, and ongoing evolution of a family of SFA/BISL securitized credit indices.
Overview
The SFA/BISL Securitized Credit Indices Task Force brings together institutional investors to help inform the development of a new securitized credit index designed to provide transparent, credible benchmarks for tracking performance and risk across securitized credit markets. The initiative will include indices representing individual securitized asset classes, with the longer-term goal of supporting a broader benchmark reflecting the securitized credit market.
Combining SFA’s industry expertise and broad market representation with Bloomberg’s data, index governance, and distribution capabilities, the initiative aims to enhance price discovery, comparability, and market confidence and, over time, support the indices’ integration into daily market workflows. The Task Force will provide ongoing investor perspectives as the index framework is developed, launched, and refined.
