Jon P. Denfeld, CFA, Managing Director, is the Head of the US Asset Backed Securities (ABS) Team and a senior securitized asset portfolio manager within BlackRock’s Global Fixed Income (GFI) platform. Mr. Denfeld manages $35+ billion in US ABS across the entire GFI platform, including unconstrained and total return strategies. In his role, Mr. Denfeld is responsible for sourcing public and private ABS and ABF opportunities, providing credit analysis, investment strategy, relative value insights, primary and secondary trading, research and thought leadership to senior investment leadership, the broader global GFI platform, and dedicated ABS and securitized asset clients.
