Structured Finance Association Statement on Confirmation of Sandra Thompson to Lead FHFA

The Structured Finance Association (SFA) today released the following statement after the U.S. Senate confirmed Sandra Thompson to lead the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) by a vote of 49 to 46.

“Over the past year, we have appreciated Director Thompson’s ambitious yet thoughtful approach to policy making, as well as her team’s strong understanding of the housing industry,” said Michael Bright, CEO of the Structured Finance Association. “We congratulate her on this confirmation, and we look forward to working with her and her team in the years to come.”
