Protocols for IBOR fallbacks set by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) last year may pose some significant hedging issues, especially for corporate users, according to Practice Insight. Some in the industry have expressed concern around the protocol being inadept to their needs. However, other corporates may opt to still take advantage of the protocol’s multilateral amendment due to an insufficient volume of “problematic” transactions.
