In a report released October 20, Real Capital Analytics announced third quarter sales in multi-family and industrial properties had contributed approximately 60% of this quarter’s volume and helped bring the total in commercial property to $462.1 billion year-to-date. Closely related are the totals for commercial mortgages, $102 billion, which pushed securities to “the highest volume for a nine-month period since 2007.”
