Michelle Bowman Confirmed as Vice Chair for Supervision

On June 4, Michelle Bowman was confirmed by the Senate (48-46) to become the Vice Chair for Supervision. Bowman has previously stated that she will collaborate with other financial regulators to re-propose Basel III endgame. She was opposed to the previous 19 percent capital buffer charge. It was also reported that she is working with other regulators to change the supplemental leverage ratio.
