Egan-Jones Ratings Co. is no longer listed by the Bermuda Monetary Authority among the ratings providers that can inform an insurer’s solvency capital requirements in the region. An Egan-Jones spokesperson said the company is confident it can resolve any concerns, and that its performance and compliance remain superb. Bloomberg previously reported that the US Securities and Exchange Commission has been probing the company’s credit rating practices.
