Rating Agency Process Task Force

SFA’s Rating Agency Process Task Force provides a forum to discuss, and advocate when appropriate, issues relating to the structured finance credit ratings process. Specific issues include: SEC Rule 17g-5, FIMSAC recommendations regarding ways to mitigate conflicts of interest in credit ratings, and proposed legislation around regulatory oversight of NRSROs.
