Biden Administration Releases Plan to Convert Low-Performing CRE Into Residential Housing

The Biden Administration released a plan to support the conversion of high-vacancy commercial real-estate into residential units, building off the White House Housing Supply Action Plan. The Department of Transportation and Department of Housing and Urban Development will head-up funding conversion efforts in supporting the Administration’s goal to increase affordable housing while also cutting emissions.
