Americans are Changing their Investment Strategy

The Associated Press (AP) found that Americans are investing more of their income into investment vehicles such as money market accounts and certificates of deposits. The report also noted how this may have helped US consumers combat inflation. According to the AP, total cash reserves are increasing even though inflation-adjusted checking and savings balances have not changed.
